The legendary Dolly Parton has teamed up with rapper Pitbull for an electrifying and stunning reimagining of her classic tune “9 to 5.”

Dolly is a Hollywood icon. She has experienced an illustrious career that has spanned decades. Over the years, Dolly has proven repeatedly she is a multi-talented entertainer. She has made many appearances on the big screen and television and has had several chart-topping, legendary hit songs. In her late 70s, Dolly has shown no signs of slowing down. 

One of the songs and films that immediately comes to mind when thinking of Dolly Parton is “9 to 5.” The classic 1980 film stars Dolly, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin as three women working in an office fighting for equality while battling their sexist boss. Of course, Dolly sang the film’s title song, which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song.

Since its release more than 40 years ago, Dolly’s catchy, upbeat and energetic “9 to 5” tune has become a classic. In a clip posted on YouTube, Dolly partnered with Pitbull on his song “Powerful Women.”

In the song, Dolly belts out the memorable and toe-tapping “9 to 5” chorus.

Once again, even in her late 70s, Dolly Parton has proven that she still has it. She is a legendary entertainer who constantly puts out quality work when it would be much easier to slow down and take things easy.
