Entire Plane Cheers After Flight Attendant Announces Passenger Is Cancer-Free

When Haley and Josh Louvelle of Toronto, Canada got on board an airplane headed to Jamacia, Haley slipped a flight attendant a note she wanted her to read before they took off for their location. She had some big news she wanted her to share.

The young couple were headed to Jamaica on their honeymoon. The two had gotten married back in 2022 and were finally able to go on their honeymoon. The two had a lot to celebrate.

The note asked the flight attendant to share how her husband Josh had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, how he had received chemo and radiation, and how he had to have surgery to remove his right lung, thymus gland, the lining of his heart, and part of his diaphragm. She also asked her to mention how he had been on life support two times.

She ends the note with, “He fought for his life and is now cancer-free and on his way to his honeymoon in Jamaica! Please join me in giving Josh the biggest round of applause!!”

As you can see from the video, the flight attendant did read the note, and the plane responded with cheers and applause.

Josh was diagnosed with stage 4 Thymoma cancer in 2020. It spread to other parts of his body and was why he ended up on life support.

Here in 2024, the young couple is celebrating good health, and Haley wanted to share that with the rest of the plane.

Best wishes to Haley and Josh as they start a new chapter of their lives together. Being able to celebrate being cancer-free is a huge blessing and it is no wonder that his wife wanted to share that with other people.

“Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth.” - Jeremiah 33:6

A Prayer for Victory over Sinful Thoughts - Your Daily Prayer - July 26

Victory over sinful thoughts starts with dependence upon God to stay free from enslaving sin. It’s a life lived with a surrendered mouth and heart before God. Winning requires us to remember our Rock, who rescues us and gives us a firm standing place, and our Redeemer, who rescues us from total loss.
