'Let There Be Peace/Something In The Water' Carrie Underwood Christmas Concert

Superstar Carrie Underwood rings in the Christmas season with a beautiful medley of ‘Let There Be Peace’ and ‘Something In The Water.’ These powerful songs are the perfect reminder that we are all children of God and He is in control.

“And now I'm changed
And now I'm stronger
There must be somethin' in the water
Oh there must be somethin' in the water”

Carrie became a household name after winning the fourth season of American Idol back in 2005. She won over the hearts of America with covers of songs such as Bonnie Raitt's "I Can't Make You Love Me" and “Bless The Broken Road” from Rascal Flatts.

After her win, she quickly climbed the country charts and made a solid name for herself in the country music world. It’s been 16 years since that momentous audition and Carrie is still using her gift to touch our hearts.

Today, she’s sharing a stunning performance of ‘Let There Be Peace’ and ‘Something In The Water’ from her HBO Max concert, ‘My Gift - A Christmas Special.’

Just listen as she belts out these words that call for peace and love for the world.

“Let there be peace, peace to every nation,
Let there be hope, for all the world to see
Let there be love, and joy to all the children,
Let there be peace on earth, for you and me”

Luke 2:10 “And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.”
