Father And Daughter Perform Classic Disney Duets
What is it about a dose of Disney that brings such happiness and delight? Is it the elaborate costumes that decorate the screen during all of Disney’s animated classics? Is it the splendid backdrops throughout their parks that people from far and wide come to visit? Perhaps, it’s the pretty princesses or the dashing dudes that sweep them off their feet?
It’s all of it! And, it’s all here in this video that is perfectly magical and perfectly Disney!
Dave and Claire Crosby take us through a wonderfully reminiscent medley of eleven unforgettable Disney tunes. See if you can identify the movie each of these fan favorites belongs to.
Speaking of fan favorites, the Crosbys currently have more than 3.5 million subscribers enjoying their regular social media posts and videos. Of course, it is no wonder!
This is one talented family! Watch 9-year-old Claire belt out notes, through a smile that’s missing several baby teeth, with the maturity and tone of someone much older. Not only is it lovely to hear her sing, but it’s also a joy to watch her play each of her parts along the way.
With each unique gown and getup, each hairstyle change from bunned to barretted, braided to bowed, Claire gets into character. With expression and emotion, she portrays her Disney part—princesses in most cases— alongside Dad Dave. He’s no slouch, either. Her talent came naturally.
Dave and Claire stroll holding hands, dance, and sit side-by-side through the vignettes, and it’s hard to decide which of the eleven is the best. They are all so good! But, a third Crosby family member meets Claire for her final number.
Claire and Mom Ashley sing “Show Yourself” in the very last song, and they bring the goosebumps! The singing ends as Ashley, Claire, and Dave come together where the video started in front of the iconic castle.
After the final note, Dave and Claire appear as themselves to thank Disney for the help they provided in the making of the video. Dave speaks and then prompts Claire to say a few rehearsed words. And, here Claire is once again just a little girl. Boy, can that little girl sing!
Did you figure out all of the movies? Here they are: Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Mary Poppins, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King, Pocahontas, Monsters, Inc., Tangled, Frozen, and Frozen II.
“Children’s children are a crown to the aged, and parents are the pride of their children.” Proverbs 17:6
