A classic and beloved Christmas tune, “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” has gotten an updated look, with a new video starring the original singer, Brenda Lee, and a few of her famous friends.

The Christmas season is a time spent with family and friends while engaging in fun-filled traditions. Some of those annual activities include decorating the tree and the house and viewing a lineup of Christmas-themed films. But for others, it’s not truly the Christmas season until they hear their favorite Christmas song.

One of those Christmas tunes, beloved by many, which is the definition of a classic, is Brenda Lee’s “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.” No one can listen to that song without tapping their foot or singing along silently or not so silently. The tune is so catchy and upbeat that one can’t help but provide Brenda with background vocals. 

Well, if you can believe it, “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” is now more than six decades old - 65 years to be exact. To recognize the song’s milestone anniversary, Brenda has released a brand-new video for her iconic song!

The new video features Brenda moving and grooving as she belts out those memorable lyrics. Interspersed throughout the 2-minute clip are people participating in all kinds of Christmas fun. There are people baking holiday treats, enjoying meals, decorating the Christmas tree and, of course, dancing and “rockin’ about the Christmas tree.”
