Opera Singer Proves It’s Never Too Late To Follow Your Dream With ‘O Mio Babbino’

One woman, who has deferred her dream of being a singer for decades, won over and inspired many with her beautiful voice on Canada’s Got Talent.

The Lord has blessed everyone with unique talents, skills and abilities. Some people find their God-given gifts earlier than others. While others, when they do eventually find them, can be forced to delay and put off their dreams.

Paola Troilo, a loving mother and wife, has the voice of an angel. She always wanted to sing in front of adoring crowds, showcasing her beautiful operatic voice. However, she has put off pursuing her dream for years.

But now she’s going after that goal, displaying her talents for the world to enjoy.

“All my life, I gave my time to everything,” Paola said in a clip posted to YouTube. “Everybody, I gave everything I have. Now, it’s time for Paola to stand up. I want to take my powerful voice, I want to sing for all the women, that dream can come true.”

Paolo, when she walked out for the semi-finals of Canada’s Got Talent, did so as an opera singer after years of putting off her dream.

Her performance, near the 3-minute mark in the clip, is stunning. She sounds like someone who has graced the stage for years, treating audiences to her beautiful voice. Her talent is mind-blowing, showing that it really is never too late to go after a dream or a goal.

Paola’s show-stopping performance even brings her husband to tears. He is seen wiping away tears that are streaming down his face. The audience responds to Paola’s beautiful performance with a well-deserved round of applause.

Even if you’re not an opera fan at all, it’s still easy to appreciate the beauty of her voice.

Proverbs 21:5 “The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty.”
