Worshippers Come Together For Soul-Stirring Rendition Of ‘Jesus Loves Me’

Often the simplest and most easily discernible messages make for the best, most moving and touching songs as one group of talented musicians show.

Children who grow up in and attend church with any kind of regularity will pick up on a few things almost immediately. Most will learn how to pray to God and about the truth and love detailed in John 3:16. Also, children will soon become familiar with the song “Jesus Loves Me.”

In a video posted to YouTube, the group Souvenirs Worship performs a beautiful and powerful rendition of “Jesus Loves Me.” Dozens circle around while they sing the beloved and classic song about Christ’s immense love for all of humanity.

In the opening verse, the musicians mention that they know Christ loves them because of the words contained in the Bible. Also, it specifically points out that children hold a special place in Christ’s heart.

“Jesus loves me this I know
For the Bible tells me so
Little ones to Him belong
They are weak but He is strong”

While the song’s message is very straightforward and simple, it’s one that many need to be reminded of from time to time. Many today often deal with feelings of inadequacy, that they don’t measure up, that no one cares or they are unworthy of being loved. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Christ willingly gave himself up to die a horrible, painful death upon the cross because of how much he loved everyone in the world. He did and still does care enough to go through that entire ordeal so that humanity may have a shot at eternal life with Him.

Yes, Jesus loves me the Bible tells me so!

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”

A Prayer for Victory over Sinful Thoughts - Your Daily Prayer - July 26

Victory over sinful thoughts starts with dependence upon God to stay free from enslaving sin. It’s a life lived with a surrendered mouth and heart before God. Winning requires us to remember our Rock, who rescues us and gives us a firm standing place, and our Redeemer, who rescues us from total loss.
