Twin Sisters Give Birth On The Same Day In Side-By-Side Rooms
Two women, who are twin sisters, both gave birth on the same day, just hours apart from one another.
Parenthood is something that will change your life forever. After that little child enters the world and is placed in your arms, the responsibilities, worries and anxieties multiply instantly. The whole situation can be a lot to handle for anyone about to become a parent. Luckily, two twin sisters had one another as they went through the birthing process on the exact same day.
Rebecca Lawrence and Christina Keefer are twins. Both happened to find themselves pregnant at the same time. In a video posted on YouTube, the two sisters talked about the series of events that ended with the two children entering the world on the same day.
In the clip, Rebecca Lawrence states that during her scheduled induction, Christina started having contractions.
But Christina apparently did think they were too much to worry about and decided to head home. However, nature had other ideas. Little did she know, she would be back at the hospital soon.
“She came home and was admitted the next day because her water broke,” Rebecca said.
Rebecca mentioned that the situation was ideal because the medical staff at the hospital placed the two sisters in rooms next to one another. Christina had a ton of questions for Rebecca about what to expect.
“I kept asking questions,” Christina said. ‘“Does it hurt? How does it feel? Are you doing alright?’ I wanted to know personally, like, what do I have to experience in the next few hours?”
Rebecca finally gave birth just after midnight at 12:07 a.m. Christina’s baby needed more time, coming into the world at 1:17 p.m.
In addition to the two cousins having the same birthday, they were also very similar in height and weight.
Rebecca’s child weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces and was exactly 20 inches long. Christina’s baby was just a little heavier and a tad longer. Her child came in at 8 pounds, 12 ounces and 20 and a half inches long.
Giving birth on the same day as her sister is something Rebecca and Christina will remember for the rest of their lives.
John 16:21 “When a woman is about to give birth, she has sorrow, because her hour has come; but when she has given birth to the child, the pain is put out of her mind by the joy that a man has come into the world.”

A Prayer for Victory over Sinful Thoughts - Your Daily Prayer - July 26
Victory over sinful thoughts starts with dependence upon God to stay free from enslaving sin. It’s a life lived with a surrendered mouth and heart before God. Winning requires us to remember our Rock, who rescues us and gives us a firm standing place, and our Redeemer, who rescues us from total loss.
