4 Men Of Anthem Lights Perform 'Jireh' By Elevation Worship Maverick City
Check out this great video of the four men of Anthem Lights perform 'Jireh' by Elevation Worship and Maverick City.
“I'll never be more loved than I am right now, wasn't holding You up, so there's nothing
I can do to let You down, it doesn't take a trophy to make You proud, I'll never be more loved
Than I am right now, going through a storm but I won't go down, I hear Your voice
Carried in the rhythm of the wind to call me out, You would cross an ocean so I wouldn't drown
You've never been closer than You are right now, You are Jireh, You are enough
Jireh, You are enough, and I will be content in every circumstance
You are Jireh, You are enough”
What an incredible performance by Anthem Lights featuring Stephanie Skipper and Megan Duke. All of their vocals sound wonderful together as they sing out this powerful song.
“Man, you guys have got to do more Maverick City Music covers! Was wonderful worshiping with you all,” writes one person after watching the video on YouTube. “Truly powerful voices the Lord has given y’all, absolutely wonderful.”
“Incredible Voices and job on this song Anthem Lights,” comments another person online. “Love your music. Perfect Harmony.”
Anthem Lights is a vocal group from Nashville, TN known for their hymns, medleys and mashups. The Pop, Rock, Christian, and Gospel group is made up of singers Caleb Grimm, Chad Graham, Joey Stamper, and Spencer Kane.
As for the story behind the song ‘Jireh,’ many people do not know that just 4 days before Maverick City recorded the song, Chandler Moore, one of the singers in the group, lost everything in an apartment fire. He just had the clothes on his back, and that is what he walked into the studio with before recording ‘Jireh.’
The lyrics “I will be content in every circumstance” quickly became his testimony. God was enough. God will always be enough. What a great reminder as we listen to this powerful worship song!
