'I'll Stand By You' Josh Groban Live Performance

When you think of talented voices, it is hard not to think about Josh Groban. In this video, the song “I'll Stand By You” is sung by Josh Groban in a live performance.

This is a unique live stream concert experience. In this clip, we hear one of the songs. At the start of this performance, we hear and see the piano being played beautifully. Suddenly, Josh begins to sing.

He has such intention and vocal control. You can tell that this is not just a song; it is a message that he is trying to convey in a creative way. He shares about the difficulties in life and how he is there.

Josh has such clarity in his vocals. He closes his eyes as he sings, “I’ll stand by you.” There is a gorgeous key change and Josh takes it up a notch. His talent is so easy to listen to, and he has an inviting presence in his performance.

The lyrics sing:

“I'll stand by you
Take me in, into your darkest hour
And I'll never desert you
I'll stand by you”

Suddenly, another key change comes, and like always, Josh hits it out of the park. He soars on the high notes and has phenomenal mic control. Josh ends the song with quietness and sincerity.

As we think about these lyrics, people in life will let us down, and hard times will come. However, our Savior Jesus will never fail us. We can rest assured that He is always there for us, even on our most challenging days.

"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10

A Prayer for Victory over Sinful Thoughts - Your Daily Prayer - July 26

Victory over sinful thoughts starts with dependence upon God to stay free from enslaving sin. It’s a life lived with a surrendered mouth and heart before God. Winning requires us to remember our Rock, who rescues us and gives us a firm standing place, and our Redeemer, who rescues us from total loss.
