Little Girl Sings Her Favorite Song at Top of Her Lungs

As the Bible mentions, children are a gift from the Lord. As any parent knows, children bring a ton of joy and happiness to their life. However, as parents can also attest to, children can be…. well, tiring at times.

One video shows a man who looks more than a little annoyed, worn out and just plain out of options. What is the cause of this father’s current state?

A few seconds into the video and it becomes entirely clear! Someone is singing Rema’s hit song “Calm Down” at the top of their lungs. Before turning the camera to the person providing the additional vocals, the man cracks a big smile and looks in the direction from where the sound is coming.

A few seconds later and we see it’s a little girl who is singing. The child sits on some kind of chair with her back to the cameras as she holds a laptop and wears headphones.

The child is in her own little world and seems to be having the time of her life! She is even throwing in a little dance move with her singing. The little girl rhythmically raises her left hand as she bounces up and down on her chair, as can be seen in the video.

Ironically enough, she is singing a song called “Calm Down” in a manner that is not exactly the most tranquil or serene.

Additionally, the child seems to know every single word of the song. It is likely that this isn’t just the first or second time the man has been treated to a similar vocal performance of this song from the little girl! Given the evidence provided in the video, most parents will likely be able to confirm this to be true.

Regardless, the camera pans back around to dad. The man has a giant smile on his face. He can only place his hand on his face, shake his head and smile.

Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

A Prayer for Victory over Sinful Thoughts - Your Daily Prayer - July 26

Victory over sinful thoughts starts with dependence upon God to stay free from enslaving sin. It’s a life lived with a surrendered mouth and heart before God. Winning requires us to remember our Rock, who rescues us and gives us a firm standing place, and our Redeemer, who rescues us from total loss.
