‘Go The Distance’ Second Chance AGT Audition by Talented 11-Year-old
Life is full of bumps and bruises, ups and downs. As the old saying goes, “you win some, you lose some.” Determination and perseverance are what everyone needs in life in order to accomplish much of anything. One America’s Got Talent contestant is a perfect example of resolve while singing a song about willpower.
Peter Rosalita is an 11-year-old from the United Arab Emirates. Stepping out on stage in an all-white snazzy three-piece suit, Peter confessed that he was extremely nervous.
However, after the lights went down and the music started playing all those nerves appeared to have instantly disappeared. Peter, only 11 years old, sang like he’d been performing in front of hundreds of people for years!
Peter sang “Go The Distance,” a song from Disney’s animated film Hercules. And he sang it well!
Young Peter hits such high notes that it will literally leave your jaw dropped, wondering how that voice is coming from someone so young and inexperienced.
The judges loved his performance. All three judges joined the studio audience in giving the young man a standing ovation.
This was not Peter’s first appearance on the show. Previously, he was on the show’s 16th season, finishing as a semi-finalist.
Also, after he was done singing, Peter even walked down off the stage and showed Simon a picture of the new puppy he had gotten since the last time he was on the show.
Similar to Peter’s musical ability, he has dreams much bigger than his young age.
“My dream is to become an international singer and to have my own album,” Peter told the judges before his performance.
With a voice like that, young Peter is well on his way to achieving his lofty musical dreams!
James 1:12 “There is a blessing on the man who undergoes testing; because, if he has God’s approval, he will be given the crown of life, which the Lord has said he will give to those who have love for him.”
