93-Year-Old Grandma Gets Ready For First Date In 25 Years, And It's Going Viral

Lillian Droniak, a 93-year-old grandma, gets ready for her first date in 25 years, and it’s going viral. I don’t know what it is about Lillian, but she will make you smile. She’s got some spunk and a pep in her step as she brings us along with her while getting ready for her date.

The video opens with Lillian standing in front of her bathroom mirror when she says, “Get ready with me. My first date in 25 years!” She proceeds to tell us that her date will pick her up in 20 minutes as she brushes out her hair. She shares that she is nervous, but that’s okay. Aren’t we all nervous when we try new things?

“I meet him at Bingo, and that’s the way it goes,” she joked. She proceeds to her living room, where she reveals her outfit. A lovely matching top and skirt. She then dances a little and said, “This is my outfit. If he doesn’t like it, then he can leave.” Most of the date, women worry their date won’t find their outfits attractive, but Lillian doesn’t care. And why should she? At 92, you can wear whatever your heart desires!

She then says, “ All I want is a free dinner. I’m not even going to bring my wallet or my purse!”

I say Lillian looks fantastic. I hope her date went well. She has become an overnight sensation with her videos. She says she feels like she is the grandma of the internet. She loves making videos because it makes her feel young. I’d say the internet adores her. She has 8.9 million followers on TikTok with over 246.9 million likes. The dating video received over three million views.

Lillian did follow up about her date in a second video. She shared that the date was no good because the gentleman didn’t even tell her she looked nice. She also shared he was rude to the waiter and was a rude person in general. She then advises you to only date gentlemen, but you’ll have to go on a date to find out whether or not the person is a gentleman.

Thank you, Lillian, for being the “Grandma of the internet.” We need your spunk and age-old wisdom, and we love watching you live life!

"Wisdom belongs to the aged, and understanding to the old," Job 12:12.
