Adorable Children Sweet 'Nothing But The Blood Of Jesus' A Cappella Rendition

A group of adorable and musically gifted children turned in a sweet and moving a cappella rendition of the beloved hymn “Nothing but the Blood of Jesus.”

Since sin first entered the world in the Garden of Eden, it has done nothing but cause damage and destruction. Sin has ruined lives, torn about relationships, ended marriages and brought about death and disease.

Everything that sin touches is made infinitely worse. The evidence is right in front of us. This world is a lost and fallen place full of people who have willingly turned their backs on God. But even though we, as sinners, turned away from Him, He still loved us. He loved us enough to send His one and only Son, who died a horrible, agonizing and completely undeserving death on the cross.

He went through all of that for you and me. Because of Christ’s death and the blood shed on the cross, we have a chance and hope for salvation and eternal life with Him.

In a clip posted on YouTube, six children sing “Nothing but the Blood of Jesus,” the beloved hymn about Christ and the mighty and life-changing power of His blood. The blood of Christ can wash away sin and repair us to a right relationship with God.

The hymn’s opening and memorable verse is simple yet powerful, moving and true.

“What can wash away my sin?

Nothing but the blood of Jesus

What can me whole again?

Nothing but the blood of Jesus”

These youngsters singing about Christ’s lifesaving and life-changing blood are part of the Cinereski Family. On the family’s YouTube channel are dozens more videos of them singing such beloved and timeless hymns like “Victory in Jesus,” “I’ll Fly Away,” and “What a Day That Will Be.”

1 John 1:9 “If we say openly that we have done wrong, he is upright and true to his word, giving us forgiveness of sins and making us clean from all evil.”

A Prayer for Victory over Sinful Thoughts - Your Daily Prayer - July 26

Victory over sinful thoughts starts with dependence upon God to stay free from enslaving sin. It’s a life lived with a surrendered mouth and heart before God. Winning requires us to remember our Rock, who rescues us and gives us a firm standing place, and our Redeemer, who rescues us from total loss.
