I wrote this song years ago after hearing stories from people who came to my church of abuse that they had suffered. Today, around the world, Christians suffer and are even tortured and killed because of their faith. Our hope is that this song would give comfort, strength and courage to those who suffer at the hands of others in the world. Jesus suffered horribly on our behalf in order to bring the power of darkness and to offer us a future and a hope. May you find that hope and healing in Him - Dan Adler.
