A Cappella Men Of Home Free Bring The Laughs With 'Quarantine'

The men of the a cappella group Home Free bring the laughs with their parody song called ‘Quarantine.’

Home Free is an American a cappella group that competed and won in the fourth season of The Sing-Off on NBC in 2013. The members of the group are Austin Brown, Rob Lundquist, Adam Rupp, Tim Foust, and Adam Chance.

Their song ‘Quarantine’ is a parody of Billy Joel’s song ‘Honesty.’ The lyrics to ‘Quarantine’ were written by Tim Foust, and they are comically relatable during this time.

“Stand six feet from anyone when you fraternize
And don’t forget to cough into your sleeve
Better yet use Skype or Zoom to help you socialize
Just stay home if you don’t have to leave
Quarantine is such a lonely word
Everyone is feeling blue
Quarantine is hardly what’s preferred
And mostly what I need from you”

At the start of the video, the guys of Home Free are seen wearing rubber gloves and using hand sanitizer while they are singing beautiful harmonies together. Since they are all singing from their separate homes, you see a glimpse into what their day-to-day looks like right now. Their adorable pets even show up for a little cameo during the video. At the end, the guys put on face masks as they close out the song.

“Thanks for watching, y'all!” Austin Brown writes on YouTube under the video. “Clearly we have too much time on our hands... but at least they're clean ;) See ya next time!”

“Okay this is literally the most perfect thing to come out of Quarantine yet,” one person comments on YouTube.

“Leave it to Home Free to bring perfection to a song and a massive smile to my face,” writes another one of their fans on YouTube. “Bless them!”

Home Free definitely got creative with this song, and it is great to see that they are using their talents to bring joy to others during this time.
