Listen to Sadie Robertson explain the meaning behind her tattoo, one that she originally never wanted!

“The thing is, I was not ever going to get a tattoo. That was not for me,” she shared at the beginning of the video.

But Sadie goes on to share the story of how she decided to get the word “fearless” tattooed on her body. “When I was struggling with anxiety for two years – I don’t even like to call it anxiety, I just like to call it fear. I’m just calling it what it is,” she said. “I was struggling with fear in general. I would wake up and I was scared. I would go to bed, and I was scared. I would go throughout the day, and I was scared. Constantly in this state of fear. But the Bible says so many times not to fear. But it was like I couldn’t shake it off of me. There’s so many things to be afraid of.”

Sadie shared how she came to the realization to not let fear consume her life. “But the thing that I realized is that it’s not that things aren’t scary, and it’s not that things aren’t going to be scary, it’s just realizing that God already conquered fear. And there’s so much more to this life,” she said.

Sadie began to trust God with her whole life. Which led her to becoming fearless! In the video, she shares about the moment where she realized that being fearless could not only just change her life but change others’ lives as well.

That’s when Sadie decided to never let fear stop her from anything else in her life. She decided to get the word “fearless” tattooed on the inside of her lower arm. That way, she can see it and always know that she is living fearless in the name of Jesus.
