'You Say' Performed by Lauren Daigle On Dancing With The Stars Finale

Watch platinum-selling artist Lauren Daigle on the finale of Dancing With The Stars, singing her title track "You Say", Daigle has been seen making her debut on daytime and late night television promoting her most recent album “Look Up Child”. The artist has an inspiring and uplifting message that is connecting with both the Christian and secular music industry.

“I keep fighting voices in my mind that say I’m not enough
Every single lie that tells me I will never measure up
Am I more than just the sum of every high and every low?
Remind me once again just who I am, because I need to know (ooh oh)”

As the finale contests were lined up awaiting the trophy presentation, Daigle took the stage to sing “You Say”. The song is a perfect reminder that in spite of what others might say, or even “vote”, about us ultimately it’s God’s words that ring true over our lives. As these incredibly talented dancers prepared to find out who was the winner of the 2018 Dancing With The Stars season, Daigle’s lyrics were a great encouragement that how we measure up is left to God.

“The only thing that matters now is everything You think of me
In You I find my worth, in You I find my identity, (ooh oh)”

While Daigle was singing highlights from the season were playing on the big screens. We are always amazed at how these performers who may never have had formal dance training are able to learn the stunning routines and dance them with such confidence! Seeing new friendships form during the course of the season is an added bonus!

This can create a low-level hum of anxiety if the upcoming family get-togethers feel like a risky walk through a minefield.
