The entire world wept after the tragic events of September 11th. Nearly 3,000 people lost their lives that day, but each year we continue to honor their lives and pay tribute in special ways. Even thought there is still great pain in our country from the tragedy on 9/11, we can find hope and joy in the promise of our Lord and Savior. He is truly our guiding light and the strength when we feel too weak to go on.

‘Amazing grace! how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch; like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.’

This beautiful tribute set to 'Amazing Grace' is absolutely stunning. We will never forget that infamous day, but we know that from the rubble came incredible strength and faith in our Lord. There are numerous stories of God working in His miraculous ways and bringing people together in their time of need. 'Amazing Grace' is the perfect song to sing to God as we reflect back on that day. I especially love the lyrics when they say:

‘When we’ve been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
Than when we first begun.’

May we never forget the events of 9/11 and continue to pray for our nation each and every day. When we start to feel down, remember these special words and God’s never-ending love and support in our lives. How sweet the sound, indeed.
