We all are a bit prodigal in different areas of our life. Running from the light because it can be vulnerable and scary. However, in the end the darkness is where monsters exist and nightmares are formed. As mothers, we know this common analogy by way of night terrors, sweats or broken sleep with our kiddos. But as adults we have an opportunity to choose where our minds and hearts go.
Just as the waves toss the stone through rough currents and conditions, life has a way of grasping hold of us trying to cause damage and brokenness. But God, our good, graceful, and purposed Father has a way of turning stones to pearls. He has a way of turning prodigals to princesses.
