However, 1 Corinthians 6:11 reminds us, “and that is what some of you were. - But you’ve been washed, you’ve been sanctified, you’ve been justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.” In other words my friends, we all have a common past - we come from a heritage of darkness - but because of the goodness and grace of God we can be brought from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light.
