According to some research, 50% of 11- to 13-year-olds, 65% of 14- to 15-year-olds and 78% of 16- to 17-year-olds reported having seen pornography in some way (shown/sent by someone else, searched for/stumbled upon it). The time when we could all put our heads in the sand, or play Pollyanna, hoping everything will turn out ok, is gone. Porn is a serious issue affecting our children today and we, as parents, must help them through it.

1. What's the most recent research telling us about the way porn affects our children, specifically our tweens and teens?

2. What's the most important thing parents can do to ensure their children know how to handle porn when it comes looking for them?
