When a father is absent, he takes a piece of his daughter’s heart with him. Daughters with father wounds grow up longing to be known, loved, confident, capable and worthy of being treated with respect. We need this not just as little girls, but as grown women, too. That’s why so many women try to find or reach out to their absentee dads.
