39// Having Hearts Like Good Soil

 

Jesus lived in a day when everyone was a farmer and gardener, so he used a lot of stories about farming to describe what his Kingdom was like and what God is like. And Jesus said that God is like a farmer. Today, we’ll study the parable of the sower and how it can help us understand what God is like, and what we hope to be in the kingdom of God - healthy soil that grows good crops. The good news is, God is the one who makes our hearts like good soil, we simply have to trust in him.
