Seph Schlueter Earns RIAA Platinum Certification For “Counting My Blessings” & Makes History With Back-To-Back-To-Back #1 Singles
May 06, 2026

Nashville, TN (May 5, 2026)
Critically acclaimed singer/songwriter Seph Schlueter continues a historic rise in Contemporary Christian Music, earning RIAA Platinum certification for his debut hit “Counting My Blessings” and making history as the first artist in decades to see his first three career singles all reach No. 1, an achievement not seen in the CCM genre since the 1990s.
Schlueter’s debut single, “Counting My Blessings,” has become a defining anthem, topping Billboard’s Christian Airplay chart for four non-consecutive weeks (including a three-week consecutive run), while also holding the No. 1 position on Billboard AC for four consecutive weeks. The track further dominated Mediabase, reaching No. 1 in Impressions for two consecutive weeks and No. 1 on the AC chart for four consecutive weeks.
The momentum carried forward with “Running Back to You,” which reached No. 1 on Billboard Christian Airplay for five non-consecutive weeks, solidifying Schlueter’s breakout status. He completed the historic streak with “Won’t Start Now,” which spent four consecutive weeks at No. 1 on Billboard Christian Airplay and three consecutive weeks at No. 1 in Mediabase Impressions.
Together, these milestones mark Schlueter as the first debut CCM artist in decades to deliver three consecutive chart-topping singles at this scale, signaling a major new voice in the format.
On April 26, the Sony Music/Provident Entertainment label team presented Schlueter with plaques honoring his platinum-certified hit and radio achievements at The Pinnacle Rooftop in Nashville, ahead of his performance closing the Crowder LIVE! Tour.
This career-defining season follows Schlueter’s first-ever headlining run, The Counting My Blessings Tour, which sold out in 22 cities. He will soon join the nationwide TobyMac Summer 2026 Tour this summer alongside Zach Williams and Jamie Macdonald, which kicks off June 17 in Macon, GA.
Building on this momentum, Schlueter’s current radio single, “Valley of Worship,” is already resonating across the format. Written alongside David Leonard, Ethan Hulse, and Jacob Sooter, the song was born out of profound loss following the passing of Schlueter and his wife Abby’s first child, Charlotte. The result is a powerful expression of faith, grief, and surrender that is connecting deeply with listeners. The single marks the first release of a forthcoming 2026 music cycle, with additional songs expected throughout the year.
