Concept of Generation Kingdom: For decades, the world has tried to place a label on every generation to define who they are, generation X, generation Y, baby-boomers, etc. God is raising up a generation that realizes that this world can not define who they are because they were already defined before the foundation of this world. When God said in Genesis 1:26, "Let us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion [...].", we were stamped with our identity. All of us, every nationality, age group and gender are Generation Kingdom: God\'s servant leaders.
Since the fall of man, it seems as if we have become content with the worlds perspective of who we are. We fail to realize that all that was lost through the fall was restored through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Through the work of the cross, Jesus Christ restored the breach between God and his sons and allowed us to be restored to our positions as joint heirs with Christ.
Lately it seems that the only thing people know about God is going to Heaven. But we were created to live an abundant life in this earth. As sons, kings, priests and citizens in God\'s Kingdom we were predestined to make an impact on our jobs, in our homes, schools and in the church. Where we go, change follows as Christ is revealed in us and through us.
Purpose: The GK music Cd is simply about giving people a tool to help them pratically walk out their salvation as a citizen in God\'s Kingdom on this Earth. In an age of tolerance, the world continually attempts to seed us through media, music and popular culture with things considered "normal" but in direct contridiction to the word of God. The GK music Cd brings to the forefront the truth of God\'s word but does not attempt to "sugar-coat" or discount the trails, suffering and struggles that come with living a life truely dedicated to Christ and Kingdom ministry.
A Prayer When You're Afraid to Make the Wrong Decision - Your Daily Prayer - May 13
The Lord will show us the way to walk through abiding in Him, the counsel of others, or tapping into our faith reserves. May we move forward without fear in light of these truths.
