Passionate people...All of my best friends are passionate people. You don't have to be passionate about the same things I'm passionate about, but you have to dream, desire, and want SOMETHING. If you love music, I hope you dream about hearing your songs on the radio someday. If you are passionate about politics, I hope your future address is on Pennsylvania avenue. If you like basket-weaving, I hope you weave a basket that is so ornate and beautiful that they display it in the Louvre and future generations exclaim, "Ah, yes, this is what basket-weaving is all about! My life is fuller because of this piece!"

I have friends that are Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Christian, and atheists; friends that are black, white, hispanic, asian, and european; friends that are tall, short, skinny, fat, hairy, bald, outgoing, shy, rich and poor; friends that have struggled with drugs, abuse, violent crime, lust, and pride...but the common denominator in every relationship is that they are passionate about life and leaving a lasting impact. I can respect that even when I don't agree with it. Be passionate and we'll be friends...
