Tim Hawkins is a Big IKEA Fan
Tim Hawkins is a big fan of IKEA. The popular and incredibly talented comedian loves himself some of the Swedish retailer. Watch the short but hysterical clip in which Tim’s love of IKEA is made terribly clear.
Shopping is an awful activity. Yes, I know and understand that it’s something that must be done regularly to survive, especially grocery shopping (without a doubt the worst type of shopping). People need things periodically, and retail establishments have been set up to fulfill those needs. It’s based on that age-old economic rule of supply and demand. You have a demand for something, and stores are there to fulfil that demand by supplying it with their products.
Now, when it comes to shopping, people will have their favorite places to browse and pick up those much-needed items. That is, unless you’re like me and you’d rather not go to any stores. Regardless, most individuals have favorites, and they have their own reasons why this store is better than that one, or vice versa. Maybe it’s because of their prices, or perhaps one store’s layout is better and more efficient than someone else’s.
In a clip posted on YouTube, Tim Hawkins made his favorite store abundantly clear. It’s not Walmart, Target or even Costco, but surprisingly it’s IKEA. Why is the popular Swedish retailer his favorite? We are not given the reasons why. Maybe he really likes putting furniture together or enjoys their world-famous meatballs.
Whatever his reasoning might be, he posted a hysterical clip of himself pushing a cart around an IKEA. In the video, Tim also includes a snippet of “Mamma Mia,” the most popular and iconic tune from the legendary Swedish group ABBA.
It remains unclear exactly what he’s shopping for in the video, as he quickly moves about through the large store, but viewers will soon get the sense that Tim is enjoying himself at IKEA.
Proverbs 15:13 “A glad heart makes a sinning face, but by the sorrow of the heart, the spirit is broken.”
