Johnny Cerisano

Presented his fathers 1984 Ibanez (RS 530) on Christmas Day 2004, then eight-year-old Johnny began playing guitar. Within hours, Johnny was playing his first three chords, and within a week, Johnny was jamming with his father playing the foundation of his first song.

Johnnys father taught Johnny for almost a year before bringing him to Dan Leonard for instruction in fall 2005. Dan's musical influence and instruction is clearly visible in Johnny's style and technique. Dan is one of the Washington areas most accomplished guitarists and a long-time friend of Johnny's father and mother.

Johnny has chosen to follow the Lord Jesus Christ boldly and recognizes that his gift comes from the God of the Bible. As long as the Lord allows, Johnny will strive to glorify God with his guitar.

Johnny is home-schooled and the second-born of seven.
