God bless you Matt, and all those children. I am in tears of joy to see the power of Christ-like love which just filled that entire event, the equality which needed no explination, that radiated from the cheers from his fellow students. Matt, you beautiful darling soul, keep this very strength inside you always - keep faith always in Jesus and you will continue to work precious miricles as you have just done by shareing this with us here in Victoria, Australia. You have given me a well deserved "wake up" call. God bless you.

What a great anyone attempting to overcome. Whether it's a physical disability or an addiction to alcohol, drugs, food or other. We are quickened in our steps when others come around us to lift us up and encourage us. I actually at first thought it was a special olympics event and was even more blessed to discover it was kids from a regular elementary school who rallied around their classmate. I agree with Alda Roberts comment; it's this kind of thing that will stop bullying. More focus on these moments, and less time and money spent on anti-bullying government legislation, will bring about change. That's because this glorifies God.

What a better place our world would be if we all supported the weak, the poor, the outcasts, the lowly, the disabled and the disadvantaged! Also reminds me of the great cloud of witnesses that peer over the balcony of heaven, watching and cheering us on as we run the race God has set before us!

Matt, We are so proud of you. Takes a lot of courage and determination. Our son, Sean Mitchell, ( has spastic Cerebral Palsy) has just graduated from Triton High School. He was diagnosed at 3 months of age with SCP.. We were told that Sean would never walk and would be severely brain damaged. With faith, determination and the support of family, friends and community, Sean is now walking and running without the aides of AFO'S (Leg Braces). Sean runs in Cross Country, Winter track and Track and Field. His best time for the mile is just under 8 minutes. Sean was nominated "High Five Student ", Channel Five News and was interviewed by Mike Lynch this past October. I wanted to share this story with you and your parents.. As Sean quoted to Mike Lynch, " NEVER GIVE UP". We are so inspired and moved by your story Matt.. Keep running and keep smiling! Your video was sent to us by one of Sean's teachers. He wrote, Another Sean Mitchell story in the making.... He is so true. God Bless. Sean always said, " WHEN I RUN, I FEEL FREE".

Great job Mattie! What great encouragement the other kids (and adults) provided to everyone that views this video. That's what life's about, others above self. Awesome, loved it! God bless you Mattie, your classmates, teachers, and of course, your parents.

As the mother of a daughter who has CP among other major health issues, I cried for joy for Mattie and all the kids who came along side him in support of his ability...not his disability. I wish adults could do the same as our children.
