The Life is better.

As an abstinence educator for more than 25 years, this made me cry. We are raising our (great)granddaughter and this is so true. She is our (adopted) son's daughter and I pray this is not her and we can stop the cycle.

I had this situation but the reverse. My mom was the one who wasn't there. You know you never forget the fact that they don't care enough about there own children to at least want to know how you are, but God always cares. Everyday He wants an update on your life and he cares how you feel. His love is more than enough.

It looks like another daughter without a father in HER life...

I love the way God still speaks to us today. I have been sitting at my computer for the last hour unable to focus on work. I married too young. I started a family too early. When I was pregnant with my second child, ten months after having my first one I contemplated having an abortion. My strict Catholic upbringing hovered over my head but I had set goals for myself in life and two children would set me back a long way. I actually got as far as making the appointment at the clinic and I took my mother with me because my husband was at work that day. She sat there and said to me " what if its a girl?" because I already had a son. Those words made me get right up and leave that clinic. I had my daughter who is now 31 years of age. After three children my husband left us and I started looking for love in all the wrong places. Seven children later, almost 50 I question so many of my choices in life now. I started the day with a " well if I had not done that, this would not have happened " frame of mind today. This song was sent to my inbox this morning since I suscribe to GodTube. Thank you Jesus for reminding me that we made it this far. I have 7 great kids and 6 beautiful grandchildren and there were no mistakes in life. God has always provided. God will always provide. God is ever faithful. Thank You Casting Crowns and Jesus Christ for that beautiful reminder.

Dads, this is why it's so important to be a part of your children's life.

I know my dad did the same thing. I actually almost had an abortion but I the test came back negative that I wan not pregnant. He is 17 & he is amazing. Praise God for him. A man who does not b\take care of his kids is not worth salt. God filled the hole in my heart that I had for my whole life for my dad. I don't even want my real dad. The Lord is amazing! He loves us it blows my mind! I have 4 boys & I did have 2 other abortions but there in heaven with the Lord!

Our family is soo inportant. Trust I'm a loving father and husband. May Jesus be our example.

I so love this song! My father left my Mom when I was 15. He wants back in my life now that I'm in my 30's. We'll see.

Thank you Lord, for saving me.I will never leave the, or forsake the.God is good, all the time.

Unfortunate actions needn't be self perpetuating. They may be reversed, but only Jesus Christ can reverse them. Even still we have the consequences to live with.

Parenthood is a gift, a privlege. To walk away from that not only damages our children, but I don't see how it can't damage the parent? They have a serious heart issue if they are able to walk away. I treasure and am so thankful for each precious moment I get with my kids. No amount of money, toys, ANYTHING could replace that!
