Peace in İslam. The word Islam is itself derived from the word peace (i.e. salaam). Allah(God) calls to the home of peace and guides whom He wills to a Straight path.’. (Surat-Yunus (10), ayah 25). ‘He is Allah other than Whom there is none (that has the right to be worshipped) the King, the Holy, the Peace...’. (Surat-al-Hashr (59), ayah 23). “He who makes peace between people by inventing good information or saying good things, is not a liar.”. ——— Prophet Muhammad (s) as reported in Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 3, Hadith 857. “I’m amazed, that how salam (peace) is always the first word to start a meeting. but in prayer it is the end word. Maybe it means the end of prayer is the start of a meeting…”. ——— Ali Shahri’ati. ‘For them will be the home of peace (paradise) with their Lord. And He will be their Helper and Protector because of what they used to do.’. (Surat-al-An’aam (6), ayah 127). Allah calls to the home of peace and guides whom He wills to a Straight path.’. (Surat-Yunus (10), ayah 25). But if they incline to peace, you also incline to it, and put your trust in Allah. Verily, he is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.’. (Surat-al-Anfal (8), ayah 62). ‘And say not to he who seeks to make peace with you, "you are not a believer". Seeking the perishable goods of the worldly life. There are many more profits with Allah.’. (Surat-an-Nisaa’ (4), ayah 94). Say What is Good OR Keep Quite. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said "Anyone who believes in God and the Last Day (of Judgment) should not harm his neighbor. Anyone who believes in God and the Last Day should entertain his guest generously. And anyone who believes in God and the Last Day should say what is good or keep quiet." --------- Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 8, Book 73, Number 47. "Whoever hurts a Non-Muslim citizen of a Muslim state hurts me, and he who hurts me annoys God." (Bukhari). He who hurts a Non-Muslim citizen of a Muslim state, I am his adversary, and I shall be his adversary on the Day of a Judgement." (Bukhari). "Beware on the Day of Judgement; I shall mysefl be complainant against him who wrongs a Non-Muslim citizen of a Muslim state or lays on him a responsibility greater than he can bear or deprives him of anything that belongs to him." (Al-Mawardi). "Anyone who kills a Non-Muslim who had become our ally will not smell the fragrance of Paradise." (Bukhari). Wherewith Allah guideth all who seek His good pleasure to ways of peace and safety, and leadeth them out of darkness, by His will, unto the light,- guideth them to a Path that is straight.the holy Quran 5:16. The Prophet said: 'Whoever is deprived of gentleness is deprived of all good.' #Islam. Sahih Muslim (Book #032, Hadith #6270).

Love in İslam. But ask forgiveness of your Lord, and turn unto Him (in repentance): For my Lord is indeed full of mercy and loving-kindness."The Holy Quran 11:90. THOSE WHO LOVE ONE ANOTHER. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "There are people from the servants of God who are neither prophets nor martyrs, (but) the prophets and martyrs will envy them on the Day of Resurrection...They are those who love one another for the spirit of God...I swear by God, their faces will glow and they will be (sitting) in (pulpits of) light. They will have no fear (on the day) when the people will have fear, and they will not grieve when the people will grieve." He then recited the verse: "Behold! Verily for the friends of God, there is no fear, nor shall they grieve." (Quran, 10:62) - Sunan of Abu Dawood, Hadith 1563. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "You will not believe as long as you do not love one another." - Sahih Muslim, Hadith 19. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "No man loves another for God's sake without his Lord honoring him." - Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 1301. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) quoted God as saying: "My love is obliged to those who love each other for My sake, who sit with each other for My sake, who visit each other for My sake, and who give to each other generously for My sake." - Al-Muwattah, Volume 51, Hadith 15. LOVE THE POOR. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "O God, grant me life as a poor man, cause me to die as a poor man and resurrect me in the company of the poor." His wife asked him why he said that, and he replied: "Because (the poor) will enter Paradise (before) the rich. Do not turn away a poor man even if all you can give is half a date. If you love the poor and bring them near you God will bring you near Him on the Day of Resurrection." - Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 1376. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "If you love the poor and bring them near you...God will bring you near Him on the Day of Resurrection." - Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 1376. The Prophet also said: "The people before you were destroyed because they inflicted legal punishments on the poor and forgave the rich." - Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 8, Hadith 778. "And We(God) have not sent you (O Muhammad) except as an act of love (rahmah) to all the worlds." (21:107). 5:54 "soon will God produce people whom He will love as they will love Him". God Loves Those Who Do Good. "Be quick in the race for forgiveness from your Lord, and for a Garden (paradise) whose width is that of the heavens and of the earth, prepared for the righteous - Those who spend (freely), whether in prosperity or in adversity, who restrain (their) anger and pardon (all) men - for God loves those who do good." --------- The Holy Quran, Chapter 3, Verses 133-134. Reward for Righteousness. "Whoever works righteousness, man or woman, and has faith, verily, to them will We give a new Life, a life that is good and pure, and We will bestow on such their reward according to the best of their actions." --------- The Holy Quran, Chapter 16, Verse 97. Kind Word and Forgiveness. The parable of those who spend their wealth in the way of God is that of a grain that sprouts into seven ears, each bearing one hundred grains. God gives manifold increase to whom He wishes. God has boundless knowledge. Those who spend their wealth in the cause of God, and do not follow their charity with reminders of their generosity or injure the feeling of the recipient, shall get their reward from their Lord; they shall have nothing to fear or to regret. Kind words and forgiveness are better than charity followed by injury. --------- The Holy Quran, 2:261-263. How to reciprocare to God’s Love. Say: "If yes do love Allah(God), Follow me(Prophet Muhammed): Allah will love you and forgive you your sins: For Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." The holy Quran 3:31. Allah loves Muhsineen (Good Doers)the holy Quran [2:195, 3:134, 3:148, 5:13, 5:93]. Allah loves Tawwabeen (Those who turn to rightfulness) the holy Quran [2:222]. Allah loves Muqsiteen (Those who act equitably and justly) the holy Quran [5:42, 49:9, 60:8].

Should they intend to deceive thee,- verily Allah sufficeth thee: He it is that hath strengthened thee with His aid and with (the company of) the Believers; (The Quran, 08:61). The very word ‘Islam’ (from the Arabic silm) connotes peace. According to a tradition of the Prophet, ‘Peace is Islam’ (Al-Bukhari). This means that peace is one of the prerequisites of Islam. Similarly, a Hadith states: A Muslim is one from whose tongue and hands people are safe. One of the attributes of God described in the Quran is ‘As-Salam’, which means peace and security.’ That is to say that God’s Being itself is a manifestation of peace. Indeed, God is Peace (Al-Bukhari). In the Quran divine guidance is likened to the paths of peace. (5:16) According to Islam, Paradise is the ideal human abode, and is thus called the ‘Home of Peace.’ It is also said that, the people of Paradise will wish peace to one another, indicating that the social culture of the people of Paradise will be based on peace. The Quran, avers that, ‘reconciliation is best’ (4:128), and judging by the consequences, the way of peace is far better than that of confrontation. By the law of Nature, God has decreed that success will be met with only on a reconciliatory path, and not on a confrontational or a violent course of action.

What does mean Jihad. One of the greatest misconceptions about Islam, not only amongst the non-Muslims but even amongst the Muslims, is that concerning the concept of Jihad. Non-Muslims as well as Muslims think that any war fought by any Muslim for whatever purpose, be it good or bad, is Jihad. ‘Jihad’ is an Arabic word derived from ‘Jahada’, which means to strive or to struggle. For example. if a student strives to pass in the examination he is doing jihad. In the Islamic context, ‘Jihad’ means to strive against one’s own evil inclination. It also means to strive to make the society better.I am doing Jihad right now by maintaining this page, because it is a tool that can be used for spreading Islam and the Truth. And because it is also a Media tool, it could be used for fighting for what is right and condemning what is wrong It also includes the right to fight in self-defence or to fight in the battlefield against oppression and against aggression.Any mean for spreading Islam and the Truth, or to fight for what is right and condemn what is wrong (such as fighting the bad and helping the oppressed even if they were not Muslims) are considered Jihad. Jihad is not holy war. Not only non-Muslim scholars, but even some Muslim scholars mistranslate the word ‘Jihad’ as holy war. The Arabic word for ‘holy war’ is ‘harabum muqaddasah’ and this word is not to be found anywhere in the Qur’an nor in any hadith. The word ‘holy war’ was first used to describe the crusades of the Christians who killed thousands of people in the name of Christianity. Today, this term ‘holy war’ is used to falsely describe Jihad, which merely means ‘to strive’. In an Islamic context, Jihad means ‘to strive in the way of Allah for a righteous cause’. i.e. Jihad fi Sabilillah. In regards to Jihad and fighting the hostile enemy, Allah Almighty Made it crystal clear in the Noble Quran about being peaceful to ordinary and peaceful non-Muslims, and being very hostile to the hostile enemy: Fighting in the cause of GOD Almighty those who FIGHT US is what "Jihad" is all about. I can't go and kill a non-Muslim just because he is a non-Muslim. That is absolutely forbidden in Islam: "Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for God loveth not transgressors. (The Noble Quran, 2:190)". "But if the enemy incline towards peace, do thou (also) incline towards peace, and trust in God: for He is One that heareth and knoweth (all things). (The Noble Quran, 8:61). What are the limits? Do not kill women or children or an aged, infirm person. Do not cut down fruit-bearing trees. Do not destroy an inhabited place. Do not slaughter sheep or camels except for food. Do not burn bees and do not scatter them. Do not steal from the booty, and do not be cowardly." [Malik Muwatta Book 021, Hadith Number 010]. So it is clear from the above hadith that muslims are not allowed to kill any innocent person during war and even not allowed to kill animals and destroy the trees.... so how can people accuse islam that it promotes killing of humans when killing of even animals and trees are forbidden. IS TERRORISM A MUSLIM MONOPOLY?
