I as well am guilty as charged and share in the conviction.

Powerful. Convicting. All too often guilty as charged! What a loss for me. Why do I allow other stuff to take priority over that precious relationship? Thanks for the reality pill!

It is so true that if you do not spend some time in the Word of God everyday you will be weak. You can't get to know someone if you do not spend time with them. And you will miss out on so many blessings if you do not know Jesus. My prayer for each of you is that you will know Him who is life eternal and full of glory and Joy. I t is so wonderful being His and He is mine.

Didn't say a word but spoke volumes Campus crusade for Christ taught me that a daily quiet time with the Lord is indispensable.

Sorry to admit this was my sort of routine but not anymore!

reading the bible first thing in the morning feeds the spirit and diminishes the craving for 'something' to fill the void, allowing all else to remain in proper perspective. it works! when you want a snack in the evening, read several chapters of the bible first and drink a glass of water - the desire to snack on food goes away - tried it last night - and it worked. truly amazing how satisfying is the word of God!

We eat every day and find time to eat. Do we spend more time eating or reading the Bible? Which is more important?

I remember my late dad, telling me 'Jimbo, when you see a person whose Bible is worn, MESSY, and out of sorts,(like notes and papers sticking out from all angles), it's usually a sign of a person whose life is just the opposite!' He was so right! I try, and with the business of life in the fast-paced world we live in, it takes a conscious EFFORT to MAKE time to read Gods' Word, to set aside time for prayer. I can tell you (for me personally), really taking the message I hear on Sunday, and applying it to my life, seems to keep me "Christ Conscience", (at least more than when I allow circumstances to become the thing I am focusing on). The Word never comes back 'void', & even a 5 minute devotion, every morning, will make a big difference in any Believers' life. Try it for 30 days. Someone challenged me to do so, and God honored that choice. My wife, (PRAISE GOD) for the first time ever, said "Hon, let's go 'check out' that 'The King is Coming' study at the church on Wednesday nights! Matt. 6:33, God is faithful, and HE wants to give HIS children a happy life!

In Ephesians 6 we are told the Bible is our sword the only offensive weapon we have. In sports if you have no offense and only defense can you win? The answer is no, the best you can hope for is a tie and most of the time you will lose. When Jesus was tempted by Satan what did Jesus use to counter the attack of Satan, none other than God’s Word. You do not have to let sin reign over you nor let sin permeate your life that leads others astray. Read 2 Thessalonians 2:13, it says that salvation is through sanctification. The Bible teaches us, trains us, corrects us, directs us, and protects us when we place God’s holy Word in our hearts. The renewing of our mind is when we replace the ideas of the world (lies) with the ideals (truth) of God. How can you say you are a Christian and not love Gods Word. Being a Christian means we look like Christ and that we love God. When we love something or someone we spend time with that person or thing. Through Gods Word we get to know Him and as we know Him better and better we fall deeper and deeper in love with Him. As we love Him more and more we sin less and less because sin hinders that relationship. If you do not have a relationship with God’s word you do not have a relationship with God. Choose today who you will serve, pick up your Bible and read the greatest true love story ever written to you.

hate to admit it, but far too often I rush off to get my busy day on tract and neglect the very thing that will keep it that way...a quiet moment in prayer. Thanks for the reminder.

The video truly shows that too many of us leave the Bible setting until Sunday and than we pick it up. Wouldn't it be great if each day was started with God's Word!
