Someone made a valid point to me the other day - God's name is not God. If taking his name in Vain had ANYTHING to do with the word 'God' then we're screwed on a billion accounts. Look up the word's that have 'God' in them in our vocabulary- god-send, god-forsaken and so on. Also - how many times have you sarcastically said - 'God Bless you' without meaning it?

I agree that blasphemy is wrong. That being said, I'm shocked that he even bothered to make a special message just for this web site. I wish him well just for bothering. We should be grateful for this video, because it gives us a chance to discuss the topic of blasphemy.

1 John 2:15 Do not love the world or the things of the world, If anyone loves the world the love of the Father is not in him. This movie has nothing to do with Christ so as Christians who are to be separate from the world. We should not watch it.

We must be careful not to judge and criticize Kevin or we wind you becoming what we dislike the most of hollywood. Remember discernment is needed but judgement is not, or the measure we use to judge will be measure to us. Lets focus our attention that he is on Godtube...some maybe the Spirit is drawing Him closer to our Savior. I will be praying for him.

Phil. 4:8 is a good guideline for what to watch. I doubt taking the Lord's name in vain would fall within the criteria of that verse. We'll pass on such "entertainment." Sad that GodTube somehow didn't see the light on this one...

Amen Rachel Thank you for your post..blasphemy is serious in God's site(see exodus 20-the 3rd commandment) yet alot people will justify going to c it..question would GOD sit thru it while His Name is taken in vain?

Don't be deceived just because it's an actor. Pluggedin.com (Focus on the family's movie review) shows they use God's Name in vain over 12 times. I know as a Christian I don't want to listen to that as "entertainment". See for yourselves: http://www.pluggedin.com/movies/intheaters/zookeeper.aspx.

Nicely done. I love Kevin James. He's so funny and his comedy is relatively clean, from what I've witnessed.
