I can't agree with you. It sounds like they are moving around in 3rds.

The harmony is different, but that may be their signature blend. I actually liked the difference in the harmonies. I believe it enhanced their music. Keep up the good work, teens! I would love to have you in my Bible class here at Liberty Christian Academy, Lynchburg, VA.

Noddy Greenacre ~ every thoughtful Christian knows that God loves all the children of his creation. Genesis says that God made man and women in his image and likeness - not only Americans, or Brits, or Sudanese, or Chinese; not only white, or black, or brown, or yellow; not male or female - for all we are called to pray. Scripture also tells us to pray for our families, our friends, our co-religionists, our work, our needs, all men and women of faith and good will, and our country and all the nations of the earth. If I were a Christian living in Russia I would pray for my country, if in Congo, if in China, if in Italy, if in Argentina. I don't understand your animis to this particular song, what in particular of this song causes trouble? I am curious to know.

why would you even bother commenting on this song, then? It's kind of like the on/off switch for a light: don't like it, turn it off.

Happy BDay Bro!

The past comments are from "so called" or "plastic" Christians. I don't get it, if we are Christians, won't they know us by our love? This song was beautifuly sung. America is not my country, and I am not a fan of america policies, but still this is a beautiful song. To say comments like, if you don't like america, don't let the door hit you on your way out, or to say live somewhere else? How is this loving our neighbor? What about the sign on the statue of liberty that says... "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free. The wretched refuse of you teamming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!" Now I must confess that I do struggle with being a neighbor to those who anger me, but Christ's commandment spoke about everyone, when he said "Go and do likewise!" Luke 10:25-37. Take care and bless those who persecute you, in doing so you will bring glory to God.. Amen and Amen... Neo... http://www.iamneo.org

Ditto to Carolyn... BUCK UP AND ACCEPT AMERICA or do not let the door hit you as you leave our great country. These young adults are awesome... no accompanying music... this is very hard to do. Praise the Lord for the talkents of these kids.

Loved it Carolyn, and totally agree that folks that don't appreciate what our Country stands for should leave as soon as possible.

Yes, Carolyn, I did get the posting. Beautiful harmony. We can sing God Bless America - it's OUR home but if we all tried to live in harmony (such as the harmony demonstrated by the singers - WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD IT WOULD BE!

  • 2011-09-12T14:38:19

Yes, God bless America! And God bless Dave's Highway for sharing their beautiful harmony with us! I can't get enough!

I feel blessed every time I hear these amazing kids singing- they are gifted singers and it is a pleasure to support them! I know that God and all of His angels smile each time they sing! (:

knee jerk reaction - 'fake'. :0) Wow. Beautiful. Wow.

The previous comments are interesting..... the one from somebody named Noddy indicates she doesn't know the history of the song/ author. When one is truly thankful to be living in the USA, this song takes on entire perspective; if you are not happy to live here.....maybe you will be able to leave as soon as possible. But yes, God does have his hand over ALL.
