I can not wait to see this film. My daughter currently is in the fourth grade and I walk through the halls with her after school and see this first hand and it breaks my heart. I have also had a child that does not know me come up when picking my other daughter up from school and ask me if I was her mother. Then he proceeded to tell me that kids are mean to her and he doesn't know why. He said he thinks it is because they don't give her a chance. That is powerful to me as a mother that other children witness this daily. What are we teaching our children?

No Tolerence policies don't even work....Jesus is the answer.

Patricia Dinoa, yes, the parenting is where we as a society are failing most I think, and many fathers are now out of the home. I believe that for the most part good Christian-led parenting is the single most important variable in the stability of a child, or even into adulthood, for that matter. Bullying is usually initiated out of the result of some sort of frustration or feelings of inadequacy. Our government and institutions are not responsible for the change, but rather WE are THE CHANGE.

We should teach our kids to fight back the villain kids and not be bullied by anyone. What Jesus taught us was on personal insults in free world or persecutions in tyrannical nations, not on physical dangers like what is happening today in the public schools in the West. Christians should be good, wise and strong, both adults and kids, in a nation which Christians had built for Christians to live. All kids in free democratic countries need hard lessons so they won't bully. If you are a pacifist, pull out your kids from those lethal dangerous public schools and demand the government to pay for Christian education you choose, since secular education is atheistic. Why should Christians be forced to pay for the anti-christian atheistic education in free countries? We are being deceived by the liberals. The government should pay for Christian education now the public schools are so dangerous to kids.

Bullying, especially at such a young age, is devastating for a child. It can crush his/her's life spirit from the inside out. No one should ever have to face such mental torturing and we need to make an effort to make sure that whenever we see it happening we take affirmative action against bullies. Teach them it is NOT okay to discriminate against, no matter what ground of reason they believe to have. I have personally been through it and I can still feel the effects of some of that today. It's an absolutely heartless act.

This has become such a huge issue, and I am so happy that they are making these sort of "thematic" movies, so that we can really get the issues under the magnifying glass. Bullying has been fed by the fact that we have become such an image-conscious society, and for whatever reason some kids find pleasure (or even approval) by making fun of other kids. And you will usually notice that they have some sort of audience, as if to elevate their own status in the heirarchy. Personally, I believe that the farther we get from the Love of God, the closer we come to acting like a bully. The Love of Christ is the Answer to Everything.

Elaine, thank you so much for your post. My oldest brother Mark was horribly bullied by classmates, to the point where they held him upside down and buried his head in a gravel pit close to the school, until big sister went APE on those kids--he suffered with this his life-long. He now teaches, and has compassion for those who were marginalized to the extent that he was. His sister has been bullied all through my life, but with God in my corner--ain't happenin' NO more. The bullied become the bulliers, so it is critical that the movement towards correcting this world-wide issue is STOPPED in its tracks~!!

I wasn't amongst the bullied but I have seen it through my years. I believe this is a great cause. Lets stop the bullying

Oh....& the administration said that him pushing my son and calling him to "fight" was not considered assault and said they do not file police reports in middle school which is a lie! They file reports on students when they fight...

There was a teacher that pushed my son and then told him to meet him in the hallway - insinuating he wanted to fight him - and they did NOTHING!...they did move him out of the class but that was only punishing my son by making HIM move...I despise the school system in Wayne Co and I sooooo wish I could afford to stay home and home school

At Spring Creek Elem. my 10yr old was told my a bus driver and a teacher asst. that they couldn't do anything about it because they didn't see it happen. But the cafeteria workers saw it. And still nothing is getting done and my child is still suffering.

This is one of those things parents should counsel their wards not to be like those in the video.

  • 2012-03-30T14:40:13

I think this should be shown in all schools and all ages....maybe some of this would stop ot at least make them think about what theya re doing
