How to Worship

  • 2012-09-12T23:18:09

break every chain is a great song!

  • 2012-06-14T18:54:41

You should worship with true heart.

  • 2012-05-23T11:15:45

I hope I don't crack up Sunday, right in the middle of "Waiting Here for You", or "Break Every Chain"!

  • 2011-10-31T20:05:15

It`s not funny, but we have to agree that some people does that just perfunctory, without glorification... I had several situations about this, even speking about the gift of tongues. :/

I think this is so hilarious HAHA L.O.L. Thank God that there isnĀ“t roles to how to worship Him. All God wants is our FULL HEARTS =).

  • 2011-10-22T04:13:52

Eduardo Baloja It's actually ridiculing insincerity, not authentic worship. Sarcasm is used to make the point here.

  • 2011-10-21T17:12:15

There might a place to mock something in good natured fun, but I think that for too long we have minimized the worship to the Lord..this video does NOT add to worship. When are we going to get serious about worship and drawing closer to the Lord? I equate it to those terrible close up, in your face, newscaster shots of people who are experiencing great sorrow and a NEED for privacy..there is a need for respect, among other things. It seems that even the church is letting down and 'letting it all hang out' w/o regard to how HOLY our God is. I don`t read anywhere in the Bible that this is an acceptable action to take, making fun [ how ever harmless one thinks it is ] of worship! Aren`t there enough things in the world to hit on? Try reading how people approached the Lord in the old testament? just my own opinion!

I found it funny because I can SOOO identify with the clumsy worshipers. I want to move with my worship but am so self-conscious about looking strange or "doing it wrong" that I stifle myself. You would need a microscope to find my sense of rhythm so clapping is even a challenge for me. Clap on beats 2 and 4? When did that change come about? I remember learning in kindergarten to clap on 1 and 3 -- of course that was in 1960!

Eduardo Baloja: exactly what you said is true. We should be prompted by the holy spirit in everything. But the truth is that we all fall prey to temptation to follow the crowd at one point or another and if you say that that is true and that anyone hits the mark then the truth is not in you. This video is just showing the truth. It's not endorsing what people do but it is being truthful about our shortcomings. Plus when you are led by the spirit you no longer are concerned with "don't eat this" or "don't touch that", which is of the law but you are concerned with what Christ is concerned about. I'm certain that the Spirit is much more concerned over holiness in our lives then rather or not a funny video perfectly portrays a certain doctrine.

Ronnie Kisor, I woship with a whole heart, with my hands raised and my body subject to whatever position God places in my heart, I worship HIM with my life too and my actions but You are wrong about people who find that secret place with God and just worship before his throne at the mercy of an ALMIGHTY GOD. Im not saying that people who dont do that are not worshipping either because like Tamara Lee Nye said, God knows your heart but I find that when I am before my King my heart gets so excited my body can not contain my joy and as a mother of 2, I know what its like to see my kids hug me and love on me and I think thats how God feels when we are loving on him. There is no RIGHT way to worship, as long as God is in your heart and u love him with everything you have in you, then you are worshipping him. SHOWING GOD HOW MUCH YOU LOVE HIM = WORSHIP!!

Eduardo Baloja where are you from? I don't always get British humor either - maybe it's a case that you don't get American humor - the point to the video, I believe - was that God knows your heart and it really doesn't matter how you worship so long as it comes from the heart. Many people, unfortunately, go to church and act the part but they don't let God into their hearts - this video was funny to those of us who understand that it's really NOT a lesson in how to worship but actually a way to show us in a ridiculous way that the heart is what God sees not our silly movements and actions. God knows if our worship is sincere or not. It's fine to jump, shout, raise your hands if that's what you are used to in your church, but it's also fine to just bow your heads, sit quietly and pray. God knows your heart.

This is so wonderful! I love the Lord and His mighty splendor, don't get me wrong, but we have to remember that God is not serious all the time. He is going to laugh at things, and this is one of those! God is good and this video is funny.

  • 2011-09-15T16:32:35

I thought it was funny initially, thoughh I can certainly see why offense could be taken. However the most disterbing thing I see here is not the video. I see Christians tearing down other Christians instead of trying to understand each others concerns. That is what disurbs me most. Both views are right try and understand each others point of view.

  • 2011-08-27T09:55:58

very true, most of us do make d@ kinda mistakes in church...

  • 2011-08-27T09:46:43

This is too funny guys I showed it to my band leader he cried laughing. Thank God for the spirit of joy.

  • 2011-08-16T19:35:13

So i suppose we should just lock the church doors and not let any of these false worshipers inside......all of you are being ridiculous. this isnt a parody or some kind of way to make fun of Christians this is a funny little video from one Christian to a group of other Christians what Eduardo is talking about is hypocrisy and honestly if you feel this strongly about it then stone me first because i break commandments everyday....and im not perfect and I cant do this without Jesus Christ and i need his Grace and im gunna lift my hands to praise the ONE and only Savior of the world...Because my sin is great but His grace is infinite....Worship is about grace and a saving relationship...not about throwing big words around and judgeing people to the commandments....and you wonder why no one wants to be a Christian
