Ha... Didn't think so many Jesus followers were so concerned about money! You guys sound like a bunch of bankers and salesmen. Give what you can, not what u don't have.

This is not funny.

It amazes me how much some folks prefer to rely on traditions rather than relying on the truth. They are too lazy to search the scriptures for themselves to gain knowledge and understanding, but instead they keep their mouths open like baby birds so they can be fed.

Personally, I feel extreemly sorry for anyone who is not obedient to the Word. Life must be very difficult for you. I, on the other hand, as a tither, don't ever have to worry about any needs! Infact, I have so many testimonies of how God has not only met my needs, but exceeded them and blessed me in my wants (I also give generously above the tithe) that I couldn't possibly take time to share them here. Too bad the religion of money is holding so many people back from experiencing who God really is. Oh well, I know where my heart is and where my treasure is! Too bad for the rest of you.

my parents have ALWAYS tithed and God has blessed them for it, in more ways than just financially; I have taken the torch and told my wife that no matter our circumstance, we will be faithful in tithing. AWESOME presentation!

its realy hard to let go or give tithe if you consider yourself as the owner of it, but when you know that you are just a faithful steward..there is no worry and fear of lossing when you give. Proverbs even tell us to give our first fruit not the excess.....

I think that Scripture is clear that in the New Testament our tithe is to be giving SACRIFICIALLY. 10% might be a good place to start. For some, they might need to give 40%, that's between them and God. I think this is a pretty funny rap... even though I disagree with it's full message. As a pastor's wife myself, I know how frustrated people get when they are bombarded with "give, give, give" during a church service. I very much value "sacrificial giving"... be it with $, time and/or resources. I think these men are pure in their motive and I applaud them for addressing the issue.

It's about sacrificial giving... Ten percent is ok, but if you spend money on things that aren't God honoring for you and your family, then you are robbing God with your tithes and offerings because of that. on another note, a church that size probably doesn't have to push tithing too much, thus why they stick with the 10 percent viewpoint.

I thought the video was cute, but it’s unfortunately ruined by all of the comments from people who can't take the humor in the song and just leave it at that. Read the posts underneath. No wonder the body of Christ is divided in so many denominations, groups, cliques, etc. God HELP US! Your kids are running around arguing with each other about what to give you! If you had a Facebook account, I think you’d read these comments and type “SMH."
