Kitty and Baby Cuddle SO Sweetly Together - Double the Cuteness!

It is adorable, and for those of you who are going on about germs and cat hair and dander or whatever, I've read that parents who are too particular with their babies not getting a germ on them are probably going to cause those children to develop more sickness and allergies. You have to be exposed to things in order to build up some resistance. Don't sweat the small stuff.

It is precious. It is not about cleanliness, germs, allergies, scratches or contracting a disease. It is about the potential for suffocation (of course not while the parent is present). Our great, faithful, loving God gave us good sense. We need to use it.

Cats have fur

@ Pastr Myra Jammer...Most likely the baby was born in a hospital, one of the worst places for contracting diseases. MRSA virus is rampant in hospitals..go ahead & find that in scripture

  • 2013-05-15T05:52:59

Maybe the owners were WISE enough to have the cat de-clawed before the baby came

Bonnie Maas ... thank you, well said & true

Hildegunn Urdahl....I agree with everything you said except about getting allergies. There is more proof now that babies/children that are exposed to fur at an early age will produce an immune system to allergies in fur.

Cats don't have hair..they have fur

Colleen McVoy Hakola ... by any chance do you realize that a video camera does not run by itself. Use your head, a parent was taping this..thus someone was there to protect the baby

  • 2013-05-15T05:21:08

Pastr Myra Jammer ...get your mind out of the gutter. You have such an evil way of thinking

I loveeeeeeeeeee cats, I love animals. I would not however find it WISDOM to put a cat in a crib with a very young baby like that. There are just a number of things that could go very wrong and WHY would it be smart or wise to risk it? I know a parent was monitoring, but it just takes a second for a cat paw to be in the babies eye, in complete innocence of the cat. I don't think its cute when people put thier pets up close to almost newborn babies. Its just not smart people! Its NOT a case about Christians being judgemental HELLO, we are called to be WISE people! Doing this kind of thing is a dumb move.

I have heard that cats can smother a baby.

Colleen McVoy Hakola Do you STILL believe in OLD WIVES TALES??!! Good grief!!

So well said Ken Etter! EXACTLY wahat you say, couldn't have said it better myself! She sounds like a broken record!!!

  • 2013-05-14T13:47:17

THAT is an old wives tale! Really, some people make this out to be worse than what it is. I am sure that the parent taking the video knows how their cat is and wouldn't have done it if they thought the cat would do this. (rolling eyes)
