I guess I'm a little puzzled. No "likes" or "comments". Nothing, no reaction at all. Ok, I only waited 3 days, maybe I should have waited a little longer. I understand the times that we live in. Really I do! I just thought that within my friend list there would have been at least a few responses. :( Disappointed.

I am on my 15th year of celibacy now and I fully understand her thinking. I want it to be my gift to my bride on our wedding night and for her to appreciate what it means. I want her to be secure in the fact that I was faithful to her even before I met her and she can rest in the comfort of that continued faithfulness throughout the blessing of our union. It gets easier as time goes on, but I do cry out to the Lord for a devoted Christian wife. I have so much invested that it motivates me to finish my course. I could not trade all I have gone through for anything less than marriage. Only I can establish the value of this. I can relate to her about the reaction of people to this decision. I never thought it would be so difficult for people to understand. They seem to treat you like you have this condition or problem, like there should be a cure for it somewhere. The reactions are not what I thought they would be. People are interesting no doubt. Her future husband will be blessed for sure. I pray the best for both of them.

Wow, I really admire this young lady for the stand that she has taken. I'm sure that she has endured much persecution because of it. That is sad. She should be applauded!

It is something important and relevant to these times where 'premarital sex' has become so popular and so normal in the world. It is true some Christians do abstain from going to that extreme because of the fear of God. If there was no law,,, then there wont be sin. BUT that is not how it should be. The true believe who has the nature of Christ after Salvation does not need to be taught that ok you cant have sex before marriage bcoz it does not agree with the Word of God in the Bible..it comes naturally..bcoz u know you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus! Your body is for your spouse. And him only. If an unbeliever who does not go to that extreme just bcoz of self respect and thinks he or she is doing the right thing...imagine how much more self control can a Believer have bcoz he or she does not have to fight the temptation.. he/she can freely without any effort say NO to such things. ( 2Tim5:7- For God has not give us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of power, love and sound mind / Self control). the Holy spirit will help those who are fighting temptation. it no longer is a battle once u know u are set free and do not need the world's judgment on your life. What matters is your relationship with God. This is basic.

What an amazing testimony. I have tried to instill this in my kids. Praying the same for them. What a wonderful gift to give to your new husband or wife. God Bless you. She needs to keep sharing her story and not be ashamed. Not only is she honoring her future spouse but God. Amen!

She is not the only one. 53 and still trusting and still waiting. Do I get a gold medal or rather should I just be pleased , as an unprofitable servant of Christ , to hear those words some day from Him, " Well done , thou good and faith servant" ( Mattheew 25:21)KJB. Nothing on this earth compares to the glory and Heaven that awaits when those who have repented toward God and have placed their faith and trust toward The LORD Jesus Christ , see Him face to face. It will be worth it all when we see Jesus. ( Acts 20:21; I Corinthians 13:12; I Thessalonians 4:16,17; Psalm 16:11)KJB Perhaps He may appear to catch us up TODAY! ( Revelation 22:20)KJB.

That was awesome. I give her so much credit for standing for what she knows is the right way, for staying on the right path. I hope like crazy that she continues on this path, and pray God would continue to cover and protect her.
