Godly marriage proposal

GO first, the hope of all good things.it is my earnest desire to build my relationship foundation on that solid rock which is CHRIST.I HAVE KNOWN THAT WITH HIM IN MY RELATIONSHIP LIFE, I WILL NEVER ENDURE IN THE PLACE OF JOY FOR A SECOND.AS I AM WATCHING THIS VIDEO, I WAS MOTIVATED TO ENCOURAGE SINGLES TO PUT GOD FIRST IN ALL THEIR ENDEVOUR SO THAT THINGS WILL FALL IN PLACE FOR THEM.

We were far from the Lord when my Larry proposed to me. was more than 40 yrs ago. He was agnostic, bordering on athiesm and I'd turned my back on the Lord many years prior to meeting the love of my life. I wasn't in love wth Larry, just then...but I knew he came from folks who had very stable, loving marriage and Larry was a good, stable man...so unlike my father and disfunctional family....I'm ashamed to admit the way our relationship started out...but when we both accepted the Lord and made Him the center of our lives, only then is when our love blossomed and bloomed to what is today. So for those of us who are now married and there's no going back to "re-do" again....we CAN start afresh when we accept the Lord as leader of our household!

I hope I can at least be one of the camera men when this magic moment happens for my three sons. Marriage is an amazing thing when we save ourselves for that special someone and that relationship starts and remains grounded with Christ Jesus as the true head of the home. I think God gets as much if not more pleasure than we do to witness the union of a man a women who are in love with each other who were first in love with Him. May God always be glorified in my home, today and till I take my last breath. LoAnn, I love you more today than when I first asked you to marry me, and I suppose the love will be even sweeter all wrinkled up, rocking in those rocking chairs some day...Lord willing!

Obviously she was very nervous and he was being so sweet and serious. What a romantic fella --- his parents taught him well and raised him right!
