B-FAM (Brothers For All Mighty) was formed in April of 2008 by a group of friends who attended a course at a music studio in St.Anns. Whilst learning various musical skills, Gareth Roberts (G Rizzle), Matthew Thompson (Only Fear God), Gabriel Mukuka (Prime Angel) and Joe Mukuka (J Kidd) discovered their talents for producing and writing rap music and decided to use this to show people what God has given them, their main aim, to preach to the younger generation, encouraging them to choose a path of righteousness. During their time on this course, B-FAM created and developed their first track, âLoved Onesâ and followed this up with âIâm A Christianâ. B-FAM were invited to perform at a youth convention at the âMt. Zion Millenium Churchâ in Nottingham, and have since ministered their music at venues such as The Nottingham Carnival, The New Testament Church Of God, Vineyard and The Springs Of Life, as well as to their Christian youth group âDestinyâ, creating other tracks such as âJumpâ, âPrayâ and âAwesome Godâ. B-FAMâs lyrics often tell the story of their beliefs, how God has helped them and how they believe God will help others. Each song is followed up by the words âJohn 3:16â, relating to the verse from the Bible.
The music that is produced for the group are done by three local producers named: M.K.D. (Matthew "King" David), NP (Nkwazi Productions) and T.O.K. (Thando On Keyz), who also have links with other artists such as Yesaya, Ram1, Selah, Mcebisi etc. As well as producing, NP also embarks on the mixing of their tracks, as u can hear the name "NP" on most of their songs.
G Rizzle: "I originally turned to God when I went along to a Christian youth group âDestinyâ at the beginning of 2008 with âOnly Fear Godâ, who had been attending for a while already. During the worship session, I had an amazing experience where I felt that I connected with God intimately for the first time. However, since November time I started to stray from the path, stopped attending Destiny and realised that because of this I felt that I genuinely had something missing inside of me. In February time I attended Destiny for the first time in a while, and âJ Kiddâ stood up and spoke about how he felt some people feel that maybe they have gone so far, but something is holding them back. This really spoke to me, as I realised that Satan was holding me back, and during prayer that night I cut down the Devil and my relationship with God has got stronger ever since."
Only Fear God: "I was influenced to start gospel rapping after I listened to the album âAfter The Music Stopsâ by gospel rapper Lecrae, after attending a youth conference in Birmingham for New Testament Church of God. The name Only Fear God is a statement, to say that I fear no evil, but I am also a God fearing man. I regularly attend Destiny, and gave my life to God there 3 years ago. That was also during a painful time in my life, as my Grandfather died in July 06. That made me question God and his existence, because death had never become a factor till then. As he was a very religious man, I felt that by being religious myself means that I have a piece of him with me always, so being faithful and religious is not just for me, it is also in remembrance of him."
Prime Angel: "I have grown up in a Christian family, which really helped me in my walk to Christ, because I still understood what was wrong and what was right even though I was not in Christ. I made my commitment in 2004, when I went on a trip with my youth group, where a minister touched my soul and opened my eyes. I realised that God had plans for me as Jeremiah says, For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. I joined B-FAM to use the full potential of my gifts, and let the almighty God speak through me to reach the lost in this world, bringing the light to the darkness."
J Kidd: "I have been brought up in a Christian family, I attended church every Sunday because I was asked to and I didn't have a personal relationship with God. As I grew up, I experienced a few diffi

God’s Word tells us that His nearness is good for us (Psalm 73:28) because with His nearness, which is wonderful in itself, we also receive His goodness.
