You have to see this video of a bookworm auditioning for The X Factor and completely stunning the audience and judges with her rendition of the song ‘'House Of The Rising Son.'

“There is a house way down in New Orleans, they call the Rising Sun
And it's been the ruin of many a poor boy, and God I know I'm one
Mother was a tailor, yeah, yeah, sewed my Levi jeans
My father was a gamblin' man, yeah, yeah, down, way down in New Orleans”

What an incredible performance by this 15-year-old from California. The teen’s name is Danie Geimer, and she is a self-proclaimed awkward girl who usually finds solace in the pages of a good book.  

“When most girls are going off to hang out with their friends or to the mall, I’m usually in my room reading,” she shares.

But this bookworm has one incredible talent, her singing voice. “I’ve always really wanted to sing, and this just seemed like the best opportunity to do so,” Danie says. “I want to aspire to greater things, and I think I really can go far in this competition.”

And when you hear her blasting out a killer performance of ‘House of the Rising Sun’ on the X Factor stage, you know that she will indeed go far in this competition. It’s no wonder the judges and audience love her!

“Miss thang, you are it!” says one of the judges after her performance. “You are really, really special. With those powerful vocals and that beautiful smile, I’m just so excited!” shares another judge before they all vote.

All of the judges gave Danie a yes and she is off to the next round of the competition! We can’t wait to see where her incredible voice will take her to next.
