The talented voices of Ernie Haase and Signature Sound share an awe-inspiring performance of ‘Give Me Jesus.’

These beloved words will remind us all that God’s love gives us strength and courage to face every single day. Ernie Haase and Signature Sound have been delighting audiences with their Southern gospel worship for years. This quartet has won multiple Dove awards and they were even nominated for a Grammy in 2010.

Today, they are leading us all in worship with this beautiful rendition of ‘Give Me Jesus.’

“In the morning, when I rise
In the morning, when I rise
In the morning, when I rise
Give me Jesus”

This classic hymn is always a favorite. It was originally written in the 1800s as an African-American spiritual hymn, but over the years the lyrics have been modernized.

The most famous interpretation comes from Fernando Ortega, a Dove award-winning singer and songwriter. These words have touched so many hearts around the world and they continue to ring true today.

When you find yourself faced with a difficult situation, remember to hand your worries to Jesus and He will walk with you each step of the way.

Romans 8:37-39 “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
