5 Mister Rogers Quotes We Need to Hear in Difficult Times
Fred Rogers is known all around the world as the popular children's show host, Mister Rogers. He made a huge impact on thousands during his lifetime and was always known for his kindness, wisdom and overall beautiful heart.
It has been over 50 years since his show, 'Mister Rogers' Neighborhood' first aired on television but the messages he shared on his show still ring true today. His gentleness and kindness were a beacon for a young child, but I had no idea at the time that the principles and guidelines that he was teaching would provide such a timeless foundation for being a good Christian.
Mister Rogers was truly a wise man and remains a wonderful example for all of us to follow.
Today, we’re enjoying some of his most famous quotes. One of my favorites is, “We live in a world in which we need to share responsibility. It’s easy to say ‘It’s not my child, not my community, not my world, not my problem.’ Then there are those who see the need and respond. I consider those people my heroes.”
Mister Rogers was truly an incredible role model and he still continues to inspire generations of children and adults. Let us all follow his example and let kindness be our first action to others.
Ephesians 4:32 “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”
