'I'll Stand' Patriotic Christian Song From Zach Radcliff
Zach debuted this incredible song on Liberty University's stage at CPAC. It was met with much applause and he even performed an encore later in the day.
“I still stand for the flag
When I see Old Glory flying.
I still fall apart
At every moment of silence.
For the moms and dads,
For sons and daughters
For the brave who aren’t coming home.
For their honor and for this land
I’ll stand.”
The lyrics of this patriotic song truly remind us of the sacrifice made by members of our military. They selflessly give so that we can enjoy freedom in the United States.
“It’s a song of thanks, a song of honor,” the singer-songwriter said to Liberty University news. “I couldn’t even begin to thank our military vets for what they’ve done. It’s emotional to be a part of this song, to be a part of something that is much bigger than myself, bigger than the stage we sing on.”
It took Zach nearly 4 years to complete ‘I’ll Stand’ but it was definitely worth the wait. Many are already drawing comparisons between ‘I’ll Stand’ and Lee Greenwood’s ‘God Bless The USA.’
Jerry Falwell, the president of Liberty University said, “I believe this song will become to this generation what Lee Greenwood’s ‘God Bless the USA’ was during the Reagan years.”
Our servicemen and women truly give so much for this country. This powerful song is the perfect way to say thank you for all that they do, past and present.
