Adorable Brother Joins In When Sister Sings 'I'll Fly Away'

It’s an adorable moment captured on camera when this little brother joins his sister in a beautiful rendition of ‘I’ll Fly Away.’ This iconic hymn reminds us all that there is hope in the arms of the Lord.

“Some bright morning when this life is over I'll fly away
To that home on God's celestial shore
I'll fly away I'll fly away, oh glory I'll fly away in the morning
When I die, Hallelujah by and by I'll fly away”

‘I’ll Fly Away’ was written in 1929 by Albert E. Brumley. It was published in 1932 and became a hymn frequently performed in church services all over the world. In fact, the song has even been called one of the most recorded gospel songs of all time with notable covers from Alison Krauss and Alan Jackson. Albert was picking cotton on his family farm when the words to the classic hymn came into his mind. From that moment, it took Albert three more years to actually complete the iconic song.

Today, young Cirsten is lending her voice to this popular hymn and it is absolutely incredible. It is such a blessing to see the younger generation praise our Lord and this clip gives us two times the worship. Just watch as Cirsten’s younger brother joins in for this country rendition of ‘I’ll Fly Away.’

There is no doubt that this adorable duo is giving all the glory to God with this performance. Who else had their hands in the arm?

A Prayer for When You're Facing a Health Crisis - Your Daily Prayer - July 27

If you got the call you hoped never to get, remember Jesus invites us to ask him for everything we need. Cry out for healing, ask him to be present in the midst of the suffering, and remember he is worthy of our praise even when the news is not what we hoped for.
