Big Brother Serenades The New Baby With Sweet Country Song

It was a heartwarming moment captured on camera when this big brother serenades his new baby brother. 6-year-old Rayce Powell was overjoyed to welcome the newest addition to his family. When Tripp arrived, he was born with Down Syndrome and had to spend some time in the Intensive Care Unit. Mom Nicole Powell told Good Morning America that Rayce, and the rest of the family, would visit Tripp every day that he was in the hospital. Rayce instantly felt a bond with Tripp and they even found a song to share. This proud big brother would sing the words of ’10,000 Hours’ by country duo Dan + Shay to his admiring little baby. “I'd spend ten thousand hours and ten thousand more Oh, if that's what it takes to learn that sweet heart of yours And I might never get there, but I'm gonna try If it's ten thousand hours or the rest of my life I'm gonna love you” Nicole said, "Every time it would come on he would just tell Tripp, 'This song's for you.’” During one of these sweet serenades, Nicole was able to capture the moment on video. After posting the clip online, she went to bed. But when she woke up, the video had amassed over a million views and hearts all over the world were exploding with love for the precious siblings. After a few weeks in the hospital, Tripp was able to come home on Christmas Eve. Now, this sweet family can continue their serenades for years to come!
