Donna wrote this song after hearing her granddaughter say her bedtime prayers when staying at her home. She would say the prayer we all learned as children. "Now I lay me down to sleep...."Donna got to thinking how we leave that prayer behind as we grow up and decided to write a new prayer and put it in a song for us "grownups". This song is on her "Holy Waters" gospel album. A fan who loved the song put the video together.
