I Will Carry You' Ellie Holcomb Official Music Video

Check out this new music video by Ellie Holcomb of her song ‘I Will Carry You’ from her album Canyon.

“I know you're tired, I see it in your eyes, all that anxiety that rules your mind
I'll be your shield when you don't feel, like you've got strength enough to fight
I'll stand by your side, I will carry you through your darkest night, when you're terrified
I will carry you when the waters rise, when your hope runs dry, I will carry you”

What powerful, moving lyrics! And the music video for the song is just lovely as well as captivating.

At the start of the video, Ellie Holcomb is sitting in an orange armchair in a light blue dress. Then scenes of dancers beautifully moving about come into view, and as they dance around, white sheets and light are all around them.

As Ellie sings ‘I Will Carry You,’ her wonderful voice reminds us of how God sees us. The lyrics of the song show us just how much He loves us and carries us through all the highs and lows of life.

“Oh my goodness, those lyrics resonate in my heart,” comments one person on YouTube after watching the music video. “So beautiful, Ellie.”

The Christian singer/songwriter shared about how she was inspired to write the songs for her new album Canyon.

“I saw Jesus meet me in the wounds of my own story that I tried to hide or bury, and I experienced the kindness and empathy of God in my most painful places in a way,” said Ellie. “So, these songs are written from a new place of wholeness, healing and freedom. It's the first record I've ever made that makes me want to run or dance! Hope it makes people want to dance for the joy of knowing they are loved.”

We hope that you enjoyed listening to ‘I Will Carry You’ by Ellie Holcomb and it was an encouragement for you today!

A Prayer for Generosity toward Those in Need during Christmas - Your Daily Prayer - December 8

When we look at all that God has given us despite what we have done to him, it humbles us. It makes us want to give generously because he gave everything for us.
